Curling is a unisex sport and even people in wheelchairs can play. It was invented in medeveil
Scotland in February 1541. It came to the olympics in 1198 but it came to the paralimpics in 2006. Another name for this sport is chess on ice. It is a no concat sport.
There are two teams for each game and in those teams there are 4 players. You need curling brooms, curling shoes and a special curling granite stone they are 19 kg's.
Each player slides a stone to the end if the ice sheet towards a target which has 4 rings and the closest stone to the center wins. There are world wide competitions the biggest one is the World Curling Federation (wcf) cup which our own country New Zealand takes part in.
