Today it's my Dads 40 birthday so I choose to make a birthday dinner for him.On tonights Menu...
We have chicken kebabs with yellow pepper , cherry tomatos and bacon bits and cous cous to the side.
Dessert, we have banana cake with chocolate smoothed on the
top with cream to the side.
I frist washed my hands then got out the recipe and Ingredients, I started to chop the chicken into small pieces then cooked it in a pan, while that was cooking I got out the bacon and put that in a pan a cooked it, but it stared to pop a sizzle and I was scarred so with a bit of help from mum and dad they turn it over and made sure it was cooked. Next on the list was to cook the yellow pepper and cherry tomatos my dad showed me how to chop up a pepper and once he showed me I gave it a go and then we had another pan on the stove cooking those. I cooked the cous cous in 
Dessert
I had chosen to bake banana cake because it was dad favorite cake. Mixed and mashed up the ingredients into a bowl and then poured it into a cake tin and put it in the oven for 50 minutes and then we let the cake cool down and put candles on it and sang happy birthday to dad. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD !!!

I think that you did a good job but you need to proof read it. I think that you have done a good thing for your dad and that it is nearly a year eight level. You were also missing the odd capital letter.
